A grand brasserie set in midtown London, Holborn Dining Room serves up seasonal, locally sourced British cuisine with a twist in a vibrantly bustling dining salon. Combining reclaimed oak with antique mirrors, red leather banquettes with tweed detailing, and two patina copper-topped bars, it’s a place for enjoying a convivial meal with friends, a spontaneous pint of local lager and a burger, or a selection of crustacea and charcuterie paired with wine – all served by our friendly team who are always happy to help.

The menu, comprised of traditional British dishes made from the finest locally sourced ingredients, is divided into eight sections: Bar Snacks, Cold Counter, Hot Counter, Grill, English Kitchen, Sides, Sandwiches and Afters.

The dining room adjoins Holborn Delicatessen and includes a bar and a dining counter, each topped with aged copper and patina brass and leads to the Courtyard Terrace in the hotel’s peaceful inner courtyard - set in the peaceful courtyard of the Edwardian Grade II-listed building, the easygoing terrace offers a breath of fresh air for diners, whether enjoying the summer sun or snuggled up in blankets during the colder months.

Enjoyed it. Food is lovely, especially the scotch egg, salt and pepper squid and chicken pie. Setting is beautiful aswell. Only not 5 star due to service from waiting team being v slow / inattentive. A bit dark inside as I have to use my phone as a torch to view the menu. Food was nice especially the pies. Reasonable priced taken into accounts the decoration, location and the food. I was told to come back on Wed for the must try beef wellington, we will see.

This was my first time at the Holborn Dining Room. The dinner was very good, the food delicious and the restaurant manager suggested a very nice bottle of wine. I would recommend it for special occasions. I will go there again soon.
